Warm weather is beginning to roll in and for us that means vibrant colors, sweet treats and cool refreshments. Why not provide the same experience for your dog? Here is a recipe for some tasty, veterinarian-approved homemade pupcicle for dogs”.  Your pet will love them.

Simple fruit and yogurt pupsicles:

Fruits and veggies are some of the best treats you can give your dog. When combined with creamy, frozen yogurt – you’re providing your dog with a tasty snack that’s also healthy for him.

Prep time 10 minutes | Total time 2 Hours | Yields at least 6 treats


16 oz. plain yogurt

Assorted fresh fruits, cut into small pieces if needed


  1. Spoon yogurt into a clean ice cube tray or dog treat mold.
  2. Top each treat with 2-4 pieces of fresh fruit.
  3. Freeze for at least two hours.
  4. Serve one to your dog, and store the rest in a freezer-safe container for one to two days.

  • Cottage cheese
  • Peanut butter
  • Natural applesauce
  • Cream cheese
  • Coconut oil (less than 1 tsp per treat)
